Dr. Carol McCall is recognized as an accomplished social psychologist and former Master Certified Coach, (M.C.C.) (2002-2017) designee by The International Coach Federation (ICF) – the first African American woman to achieve the ICF’s highest accreditation.. Dr McCall has five decades of combined experience in education, psychotherapy and personal performance enhancement, with a specific expertise in listening dynamics, communication skills, coach training, life development and performance training.
In addition to being a co-owner of the IGLC, Ana is a certified trainer for the Listening Course, a licensed trainer for the Possibility of Woman course, Life Development Coach in Communications program graduate and trainer.
Ana has a Professional Certified Coach accreditation from the International Coaches Federation and a B.A.degree in sociology from the University of California, Davis.
Ana Floyd, PCC, attended her first coaching workshop in 1989. It was led by her future business partner, Carol McCall, Ph. D. and future International Coach Federation founder Thomas Leonard. The Design Your Life Workshop at the College for Life Planning set her life on a path she faithfully follows to this day: a “Life Purpose” to return herself and others to optimal health through coaching.
Ana joined company founder, business partner and mother Carol McCall, Ph. D. to form what would become the Institute for Global Listening and Communication.
For more than two decades, Ana has refined her craft as a coach within the Life Development Coach in Communications™ program, while also overseeing the day to day operations, production and facilitation of a global coaching and training organization’s programs, seminars and webinars.
Ana has logged several thousand client coaching and training hours with program participants from around the world. Ana is an invaluable coaching resource to leaders from all walks of life, but entrepreneurs, government officials and leaders from the legal and healing professions have found her experience running a service-oriented, global coaching and training business particularly helpful.
Ana stays active within the coaching community, currently serving as the Secretary of the board for International Coach Federation – San Diego chapter, as well as a supervisory board member with the Women in Leadership Executive Program for University of California, Santa Barbara extension.
